Moshi Mission 2011

We are a group of 12 mission-minded people from Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV), Peoria, Arizona, who are heading to Moshi, Tanzania, East Africa from May 29 through June 17, 2011. We are specifically working with Emmanuel Home which serves the needs of 22 orphan boys in Moshi fulfilling the call from James 1:27, “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans ... in their distress...” Working with Fire International, missionaries Lewison and Jill Omari run Emmanuel Home, which they opened in 2004.

Our team will be holding services, doing hospital visitation, painting a mural, teaching crafts, holding dental clinics, building a playground and working around Emmanuel Home with the children.
